    Question Looking for DIY CNC Lathe parts

    Gentlemen,

    This is my first post, so my apologies if this isn't the right place in the forum for this.

    But I've been looking at bench top CNC lathes and haven't found one that I like, so I'm exploring building my own 8" x 20" machine. 1.75” hollow spindle. Computer controlled spindle speed. Capable of 5000+ RPM. 5C collet chuck. 8” jawed chuck.

    I’ve found plenty of posts in the forum covering linear motion bearing, controllers, servos and software, but what I need are suppliers for the following components; Headstock Spindle. Tailstock Spindle. Variable speed drive motor system.


    Any suggestions and/or links will be greatly appreciated.
