    Trouble With Modifying Mpost

    I need to Change the drill cycle to suit my machine But it is not working out. Here Is what I need the drill cycle to look like

    P01 -.125 P02 -.500 P03 -.050 P04 1 P05 30

    P01 = r plane has to be a negative
    P02 = total hole depth also negative (zdepth?)
    p03 = peck amaount also negative ( vbite?)
    p04 = dwell time in seconds
    p05 = feedrate no decimal 30 = 3.0 ipm

    This is a peck cycle G83 on my machine. For a regular drill with no peck
    the P03 need to be the same as P02.

    any help would be appreciated
    Thanks

    What operation are you selecting inside surfcam?? The reason i ask is that your post has two G83 cycles in it and they are both different. Also if you could include what it is posting out and what you want the code to look like its easier to troubleshoot.

    n60 x.500 y.500 m03 (position in x and y)

    Thanks Joe!!!! You gave me a huge step in the right Direction. I just finished the fine tuning. I couldn't see how t do it at first. After Looking at the same thing for hours you sometimes get tunnel vision.
