    cincinatti Arrow2 500

    We our looking to purchase a machine to supplement our VF3. I have come across a 2004 cincinatti Arrow2 500 with very few hours about 500 (big company inside transfer to a branch with no operator). The price is $27,500. I really don't know much about these machines and would like any feedback on the machine and the price. It has an acromatic 2100 control.

    does this model have the 'live tooling' option? if so, make 100% sure the tool change orient stuff works if it has the integral position feedback resolver on it - I have heard from some people that if that resolver is broken the machine may not be worth your mentioned price.

    live tooling

    This is a Vertical Mill, I thought live tooling was only on Turning centers?

    oops, your right - the expensive resolver IS on a lathe. guess I was thinking of an avenger. sorry.
