Exclamation How to send the same output signal for two axis

    Hello everyone,

    I have a 3 axis (X, Y, Z) driver but I need only two axis (X, Y) to run my 2D CNC.

However, I want to use these 3 axis because actually I have 3 motors.

Let me explain you: I want that Z axis has the same output signal as the Y axis in order to run both motors in parallel, I mean, I want to synchronize them.

Is it possible to do this only by software? I have read it's possible by slaving motors but only if you have more than 3 axis in the driver. So, in few words: I want to slave Z axis to Y axis.

    Many thanks in advance.

Hi panto - just set up your axis in ports and pins as X,Y and A (rather than Z) and slave A to Y. Remember to set your steps/per the same for A and Y and untick "A as angular" in general config.
