It seems we are quick to complain when something doesn't work and slow to praise when it does.
I machine a fixture made for the locksmithing industry. The first units were manually fabricated on a standard mill. The part # etc. was manually stamped. Not pretty.
Having acquired a Novakon NM-200 to produce these parts proved a blessing. The precision and overall finish improved manyfold. Then I discovered the Write wizard and it proved to be the finishing touch. The engraving added a distinctly professional look. Considering that it generated 9 pages of code for under 20 characters, I can't see me ever attempting that manually.
