    Pin 11 is Dead

    What I am running:

    EZRouter4x8 Table
CanCNC MP3000E with their THC setup
    Hypotherm Powermax900
    Mach3
    Windows XP

The problem I am having is that on the Table I/O card, I am unable to receive any input from the X-Home Connectors, on my printer cable it would be pin 11.

Normally there would be an LED lit when the limit switch is connected, and off when pressed. I've swapped switches, and wires, but to no avail.

On my Mach3 screen the sensor LED for pin 11 is also not lit. I don't believe the problem lies with the computer, but what tests should I run to help rectify this problem?

Thanks in advance, and my apologies if this is in the wrong section,

    ---Douglas

Pin 11 on printer port logic is inverted.

    From memory:

I am pretty certain that the logic input on pin 11 is inverted, as compared to the other inputs. Try changing the input to the opposite state, (voltage either +5V DC or to Power supply common to input via a 4.7K ohm resistor), and it should change in Mach 3.

    Yes, pin 11 is inverted.
