    Question options/KL6090

    Hello everyone!
Dispite my name I am very serious about purchasing a cnc router.

I have been looking into a cnc machine, rather than build one and hope I get it right. I would rather purchase one. I have been looking into a cnc router that would work on 24"x36"x3.5". NOT meaning that is all I would work with for material dimensions. I would mainly work with wood, all types hardwood, manufacured woods... I would like to be able to do some work with stone(probably engraving). Also soft metals aluminum & brass.

Will the KL6090 meet my needs?
Would I need to modify anything?
Is there a way to cool the material(metals) while cutting?

I would love to hear from people that have exp. with this machine!!!

    thankyou,
    Hogwash... aka Jason

At first glance, this machine looks solid as a slab of my stepmother's cornbread. But look closely at the pictures... Non of the guide rails are supported. Just at the ends.

I do no have this machine to experiment with, but unsupported rails are no comparison to fully supported shaft rails. Um, right?

I still haven't purchased my machine yet, even thought money is now available. I'm real uncomfortable with the whole Customs-rape thing if I buy one from JCUT. Mandy is a nice as can be, but... That doesn't pay the extra 700 to 1000 bucks to hire a thug to walk the papers through.

I checked. It cost less to become a customs broker than what you can charge as a customs broker.
