you need to note the marks that are on the top/center of the pulley there is a mark on the pulley and one on the spindle shaft, they line up the spindle keys to the tool changer.also make a spacer that goes from the bottom of the large step to the machined flats that the orientation bridge+drawbar cylinder and belt guide bolt up to i think it is 1.680" for 2 belt and 1.730'' for the 6 belt system, but do measure it first.you then heat the pulley with a map gas torch, propane will work but is not as quick.the pulley will drop down a bit when it gets hot enough then, use some welding gloves to pull it off.to put the new one on put it on a hot plate set on high untill water drops instantly vaporize then it is hot enough,be quick and drop it on the shaft with the spacer in place to set the hight and line up the lines for the atc.you will have 3-5 seconds to do this before the pulley cools and sets on the shaft,if you do not get it right let it cool and start over.you can mount up the orientation bridge and hold the arm over to the pulley to check the keys, bring the atc over by hand and see that they go into the slots ok before putting the belts on.
thanks a lot Alex! is the info I was looking for!
