Hello –
I would like to see if any of you would be able create this part. This is a sanding drum for a project that I am working on. I would like it made from aluminum , it should be balanced. The tolerance for the drum diameter is as close as you can get, the shaft should be tight as possible to 1 inch diameter. I am attaching a standard 2d dimensioned .dxf file.

Regarding the shaft, it need not be “through” the drum if you have the ability to weld some shaft stock to some end caps on the drum and then machine from there, it works for me.

I am not a machinist nor do I play one on TV. I am not fluent in CAD but I can click the mouse real good. However I know what I need, and I know what I think it should look like. If you have any questions let me know and I will try to answer them.
