    Optimum BF30 Ball Screws

I am gathering information about converting a Optimum BF30.

So i was wondering if there are some exact specs of original ball screws that Optimum sells as Convertion kit.( diameter , length , endmachining )

Some drawings would be nice to see.

I rather buy hiwin ballscrews than buy them of Optimum.

    thanks in advance.

    Ball screws
    X 20mm dia x 5mm pitch
    Y 20mm dia x 5mm pitch
    Z 25mm dia x 5mm pitch

Factory supplied Optimum ball screws are preloaded to reduce / remove backlash.

For end machining I measured the existing screws and extended the 15mm dia end at the single bearing support for X and Y and extended the 20mm dia end for Z screw. This allows connection of couplings for steppers. Once mounted, I cut the ball screws to length using a silicon carbide tile saw - this work really well as the ball screws are still really hard when machined to 15mm and 20mm dia. I got the end machining done professionally after the experience of converting an X2 and doing the ball screw machining at home.
