Mori NV5000 screen goes blank. Screen comes back on after shut it down and leave it for an hour and turn on it back on. Then suddenly screen goes blank. Replaced screen back light and ballast board. Still the same. All axis can be jogged with blank screen. Any suggestions?

Is the LCD power save on? Should be in the timers screen on Maps.

Should be under the settings page. I've pretty much been only on the new maps iv lately. If you can tell me the control type at the top of the screen, I might be able to help further. An nv could be a mapps2 or newer. If it has USB it's 3 or newer, no USB it will be mapps 2, if it's a new machine with a light grey/white color control panel it's a mapps4.

Mostly it is 5V power supply problem, you could check below steps:

Go away spammer! Mori does not use some Chinese cheap piece of crap. You obviously don't know how the mori control is set up, you probably have never seen one!

I found the Timer and Power Standby screen under Setting menu. Under Power Standby, screen saver timer and other timers are turned off, back light is set to high. When screen went blank I had to shut down the machine and reboot it in order the screen to reappear.

Not sure. It shows MSG 501. It doesn't have usb. It has flash card slot. It is a 2002 machine.
