Stainless or non stainless steel ACME screws?

    Hello everyone,

Is it better to get a stainless steel acme screw or is it not necessary? Considering that the stainless steel version is double the price?

    Thanks.

Stainless may only be necessary where you need to hose down your machinery, or maybe even in the food processing industry, where rust can contaminate food. just a couple examples, otherwise the regular steel works just fine.
