Block numbers and file sizes, heid 426

I'm currently running a lot of contouring on my VMC1000.Some of the file sizes are coming in +20 megs. I am drip feeding at 115 kps thru Remo, but lets say a 20 meg file is 4 hours of run time, it takes 10 hrs to drip feed at that baud rate. No cool. My question is, I tried to run without out block numbers, thinking this might save upwards of 30% of file size but I get an error. In ISO mode can the Heid 426 run without block numbers? If so what does my header and footer of the file have to look like? Or is it a parameter issue?

the file syntax is not flexible.

Your cad program might be set too fine a step

I can download every program that fits in my machine in about 5 minutes at 9600 baud.......

Thanks, I thought they were probably finicky on the format, even in iso. My Fadal can do it either way, depending on the header and last line of the program. I'll try the resolution in the program to see if I can tune it down some.
I'm going to compare the same geometry posted out to the Fadal and the VMC1000 to see how the file sizes stack up(both with block numbers) to see how close they are.
