Limit switch re use of pins.

As Mach3 references each axis one at a time, can I wire OR with appropriate logic just to use a single line for all 3 axis.
This would free up 2 lines I need for a cycle start and cycle pause button.
Over travel is protected externally by a safety relay.
Machine will only run once referenced.
Inching off stuck switches will be allowed for.

THANKS GERRY. Didn't really want to pull working SX3 apart just to do the test. It is not broke, so don't want to (un)fix it.
Super X3. 3600rpm. Sheridan 6"x24" Lathe + more. Three ways to fix things: The right way, the other way, and maybe your way, which is possibly a faster wrong way.

You can use one pin for all homing and limits, if you want.
