    DX-32 Control, Error Message, No Clue!

    DX-32 Control on a Bridgeport Explorer Mill (1997 Model)

    When the machine is turned on, the following message appears on the monitor.

    Reading Param File...

    Sector not found reading C:

    Hit <R> to retry or <ESC> to continue...

    Nothing happens with the <R> or <ESC>

    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    I have the same machine, This error comes up when the hard drive dies.
    You will have to replace it and reload all your software.

    Some of the posters on the forum mentioned "emi-inc.net" as a sorce for a DISK-ON-MODULE that comes with software installed. This it what I plan to use when mine dies.

    What software will I need? All I have is one Bridgeport Disk, it's marked Back-Up BOSS DX-32.
