    Mori DL-20 dual spindle lathe problem.

    I have a Mori Seiki DL-20 lathe with a Fanuc OTT control on it. I'm getting an
    "EX457 R-spindle drive unit alarm" on head 2. There is an AL-15 alarm on the drive in the cabinet. Anyone have any advice on what to do to get it cleared and the machine running?

    If, and a big if, i remember correctly, AL15 is a switching circuit abnormal. Could be, high/low spindle winding contactor set, probably labeled KM200/KM201, Auxiliary contact on the contactor set ( thats where the 24 volt signal goes through to the I/O board detecting high/low), or a bad Idec/Izumi 24VDC power supply that feeds the switching contactors.
