the title says it all! what would be the best way to convert blue prints to g-code for cutting? i have turbo cad but it cant import jpg or bmp files. so i hope someone can help me with this question here or should it be in the cad/cam forums any help would be appreciated james

The best way is to redraw them in your CAD program of choice. There are plenty of threads here about raster to vector conversion, and the bottom line is, there really is no good way to do it.

Ditto to "ditto".....
And even with Ras to Vec software, more than likely you'll be having to clean up the image and/or translation anyway (depending on software and how tight the res is on the initial blueprint).It's just a part..... cutter still goes round and round....

You could always learn to write g-code programs. For most types of work it's not too hard.
