    Mori NV5000 window glass cleaning

    Hi
we have 12 Mori NV5000 with operator's sliding door has window (glass). They are all yellowish (caused by coolant) and can't clean them, stuck on glass. Tried windex, and other cleaners, didn't work. Operators are complaining abot not being able to see. How can I clean or get rid of dried coolant stuffs.
    Thanks

If alchohol wont clean them,Time to get new windows. Mori has specs on window life, think after 5 years the windows degrade to 50 percent of impact resistance. They have put a lot of time and money in to studying guarding and windows. The new machines even have timers to alert you. Mori probably has the best safety windows on the market btw, it started with a guy getting hurt real bad, he's in a comma still after 15 years. Owner of the shop had lexan cut and made his own window on a old sl. It was a huge mess for everyone.

    NV window cleaning

I use simple green or WD 40 and a Scotch brite pad. since the inside is glass it does not scratch. I scrub with my hand not power tools. It does take some elbow grease, but it usually works.
