I have to assume a couple of things...
1: The inverter was working before.
2: Your inverter was wired for inputs from the controller to turn it on and off.
Check to see if there are wires connected to screw terminals X1, X2, and X3 on your inverter. Those are the inputs for your 5v signals coming from your controller to set the speeds on your inverter.
If it is wired like mine was, different combinations of those will give you different spindle speeds.
Make sure you have X1, X2, and X3 connected to outputs from your controller and that you can turn on and off any of the outputs in any combination.
