    Servo Drive, will this motor work?

    Trying to find a motor for Gecko Servo drive.

    Will this motor work?
    a permanent magnet brush servo motor

    Hey bud, your link is to a brushless motor! The Geckos are, for the time being, only able to drive brushed motors. But what you really need to do is size the motor to what it will be driving. I could sell you a minute little servo that you could run off of a Gecko, but it wouldn't spin hardly anything. On the othe hand you can use a motor that at first glance appears too big, but which will work if you dont push it to 100%. I would suggest detailing what it is you want to make (a two axis doohicky...), what the drivetrain will be (belt, rack & pinion, leadscrew, ballscrew, gravity field force generators, whatever), what you will be working on (milling titanium and milling balso wood are not equal) and post it here. Then I believe you will get some good advice.
