Hi.. Can somebody list down the software that can optimize the cutting parameters for CNC turning operations. As far as I understand, most of the CAM software can automatically generate/suggest these parameters (feed,speed). However by using the given parameters, the final part produced was not guarantee in good surface finish, accuracy & tolerance without secondary operation. Hopefully anyone who is expert/experience using CAM software can help me to list down all those software. Thanks.

Software cannot replace experience,
You control the software, not the opposite.
The software is another tool on your toolbox.
Give the same print, same machine to 10 experienced machinists, you will get 10 different methods to get the same parts.

What is the rigidity of the machine, what material, what tooling, what type part, what type of cut, what tool life expected, on and on and on.
