    Fit for leader pins

I just finished a mold. I had a problem with the bushings and leader pins. I made it a press fit .001 inch on pins and bushings - 3/4 pins with OD of about 1.125 on each.
Didn't work too well. The bushings got pretty tight. I eventually made it work.

Does anybody know of mold component charts as far as the fit is concerned?

I've been looking but nothing so far.

    Thanks

you dont need to press fit them that tight,i usaully bore the hole than ream them with standard reamer, the pins and bushing come over size to press in already,so by going an extra .001 you were too tight, the bushings only have .0015-.002 clearance so yours closed up and im guessing didnt go together
