    ALARM # 22 FEEDBACK SYSTEM MALFUNCTION (1,0,&0043)

    Hi guys. we're currently using mazak cnc lathe machine mazatrol pc fuzion 640T,until we encounter this kind of alarm.anyone know on how to eliminate this and what could be the cause?

    #22 feedback system malfuction

    I am having the same issue with one of my CNC's did you ever find the problem and could fix this? Please let me know if you can help me.

    deanr,

    it could be a damage servo motor amplifier.replace the amplifier.

    It's definitely a problem with your servo system. One of your drives should be flashing alarm 43. If there is another amplifier/drive with the same model number (MDS-....) try to swap it. Make all the connections the same but make sure you swap the rotary switch settings between the drives (little blue switch behind a door towards the top of the drive). If the problem follows then it is in the drive. If it does not follow you may have a problem with the encoder as this is a feedback alarm.

    In my case. Was torn wire in the encoder and sometimes there was no contact

    Sorry for the late reply,...I found the problem. The Hydraulic fluid had small flakes of metal in it, from the Parker Valve that works the hydraulic turret lock shifting back and forth. The metal flakes jammed the valve, and caused the electro-magnet in the valve to burn out. I also had another valve, that works the chuck clamp to go out the same way. I had to replace the valves, and replace the hydraulic fluid. All is working well now.
