I have gotten my Solsylva CNC machine up and running and have managed to create a good test piece in foam of Homer Simpson and the Indian motorcylce logo. So this I feel is a good start. I wanted to start cutting some parts out of wood but came across a problem trying to generate the G-code for the parts using LazyCam. The first part that I tried is simply a square with a round recessed pocket in the middle. The part is only 1/2 thick with a 1/4 pocket depth. I plugged in what information I needed in LazyCam but it will not generate the G-code for Mach3. The engravings worked beautifully. Does anyone know what is happening here? I could use the help. Thanks.
