Hello and thank you for taking the time to help me.
I own a hardware store that specializes in cabinet knobs.
I'm in the process of changing my displays so the customers cannot tell whose
hardware is mounted on the display boards. I have thousands of knobs to mount. I'd like to lay out the board, typically 24x24, on a piece of software.
Then I'd like to send it to the cnc router to drill the holes in the appropriate place.

I'd be grateful for some suggestions.

Depending on budget there are a few options. Take a look at Dolphin cad cam.
Surfcam is also nice, the price tag is a hefty one though. What your doing seems relatively easy.

If this is a one time thing for you, you might consider just contracting the job out. I typically do this kind of work for under $100 per part program. I specialize in lathe and mill, not router. Otherwise I would offer to do it for you.

no this is not a one time thing. I have to do it at least 50 times. All boards will be slightly different.
