CT Hackerspace is having an open house on Saturday September 24th to introduce its space to the Connecticut DIY and Hobby CNC community. Here's a link to the event page on our website: CT Hackerspace Open House Event | www.cthackerspace.com

CT Hackerspace is located in Watertown, CT and is a not for profit, DIY enthusiasts playground. We have over 4000 square feet of space dedicated to building projects with a heavy emphasis on CNC type projects.

We have Metal, Wood and Electronics areas as well as a large lecture/event space. We also have a lounge area for when you need to walk away from that project that has been driving you crazy for a few minutes.

We love CNC's and will have functional member cnc projects on display as well as group projects such as a 3d printer. Our mission is to provide a space to community members to learn, make and share. CT Hackerspace will provide a physical space, tools, equipment and inspiration.

Collaborative and stand alone projects are welcome. We say that this is the workshop you can't have in your garage. This is not because we think we have the best of everything rather it refers to the fact that while we do have many tools and a good deal of equipment, where we really stand out is in providing a space away from all your other distractions as well as assistance when you want it or space to work on your own when that is your preference. Imagine a well equipped space to work on your projects where you don't have to worry about somebody breaking in on your fun to ask you to take out the garbage, work on the house etc.
