I agree Oz, the problem with firestar is it uses a generic equation so doesn't allow for the inverse square meaning that it sets under at lower powers and level on higher powers. So while all of it's recommendations will probably work they run thinner material a lot slower than it will actually run.

Hi ,we are a laser tube manufacturer . yes , we do not advice using the full power of the tube , that will use the carbon dioxide quickly .that to say .the lifespan of the tube will be less .

and for the Medium density board . we recommend the Die wood cutting machine . they have two reci laser tubes ,w6(150w) ,or w8(170w) ,cutting from the both sides at the same time . it can get good cutting spend and also can cut a little more thick board . meanwhile , it can extend the lifespan of the laser tube .
