    Question spindle motor fan nm 145

    :stickpoke:stickpoke I was going over my machine and while i had it running was checking to see if cooling fans were running. I noticed they all were except spindle motor fan , unless it only runs when it gets hot any body know

    The fan connects in series with a thermal sensor which is located beside the spindle. It won't turn on until the spindle chamber gets very hot.
