    mastercam x3 thru tool coolant.

    ok, i would like to fix my mastercam or post or whatever so that when i choose thru tool coolant, it spits out M7 instead of M8 like flood coolant. i didnt see it in machine or control definitions manager. please send me in the right direction.....

    I am sure this is controlled in the post processor and will have to be edited. Save a back up copy of your post processor before editing. Open the post processor in a text editor then find the coolant code commands. If you need what now gets posted as M7 to post M8, find where this happens in the post and change it.

    lol yup, kinda like owning a 4wd. you do know the difference between 4wd and 2wd, right? the length of the chain to pull you out......
