getting 2 arrows when inserting a contour. Why is this?

I'll put a contour on an object's profile and for some reason on some of the geometry (a bunch up of the same shape) some of the profiles get two contour arrows. Any idea what or why this is?

    thanks!

It means that you actually have two lines or a break in the line.

So would the best way to fix be the "trim two" command?

Sorry I forgot to get back to this.

I think you will find that went you delete the contour you will loose your original lines too. So you will probably have to redraw. I had some complex shapes that I drew and made contours and when I deleted the contours the lines are gone too. I started copying them to another layer first then make contours.

I wish they would find a way to change that.

P.S.: I just tried to duplicate what I was talking about, loosing the lines and I could not. But, several days ago I was loosing the lines. Must have been a temporary thing, unless I was not duplicating it properly. I was trying to fix the exact thing you were asking about, multiple contours, but everytime I deleted the contour I lost all of the lines in that contour. I'll keep and eye out for it again.
