    Can I ask why hardwood? It looks like a washer/bushing of a sort, so wood is ? on wear etc.... unless you use something like teak, cumaru or ipe. What exact "hardwood" were you wanting to use? Would a plastic like delrin or the like be better, or is the wood decorative as well.

    What hardwood are you wanting it made with?
    red or white oak, maple, cherry etc.
