Hi All,

I inherited an Intelitek VMC-0600 at school (Intelitek) and am looking for additional toolholders. I don't have much experience with CNC toolholders, but they're listed as ISO20 toolholders. Intelitek is selling them for ~$150-$180 each here (Intelitek) - is that the best I'm going to do price wise?

I saw that techniks usa has ISO20 toolholders with ER16 collets, but those are worse price wise and are rated for 40,000 RPM (The machine we have is only 6000RPM). Google searches have proven fruitless, but I may just be missing the right search terms.

Any help finding lower price toolholders?

Are ISO-20 and NMTB interchangeable? The taper is the same but I don't remember on the pull stud and drawbar requirements.

Maritool has slightly cheaper ~$110.

If they are interchangeable NMTB might be cheaper?? But looking really quick it looks like ISO uses a pull stud and NMTB uses a drawbar...maybe not.

Maritool is a touch cheaper though

If you want a large set with a large price ebay has some sets from Intellitek, but they don't look any cheaper than what you quoted.
