    License type

    Hi everyone -

I'm working on an open source CNC design and I'm wondering what types of license to release it under? I'm not sure GPL quite covers something like a CAD drawing, Schematics.

    Open hardware? Custom license?

Here is a list of licenses that should work for you:

    Creative Commons Licenses

Either the "Attribution-ShareAlike" or the "Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike" license should do for your needs.

Ah thanks for that! I'll go with Creative Commons
