    Talking Mori SL-80

How can increase the amount of tool wear offset in my parameters. I have an SL-80.>>> currently it will pull back about .100 I would like to increase the amount to at least .375 >>> In the NC parameter list I believe it is lines 05013 and 05014 >>> line 05013 the setting is 10000 and line 05014 is 1000. >>> which do I change and to what amount?

Might help if you post the control type. Sl80's have been around a long time. Helleva machine though!

In this case the control type probably doesn't matter. It's a standard Fanuc parameter common to
all controls in Fanuc 10/11/12/15/16/18/21 series.

5013 is the absolute maximum value that any wear offset can be.
    So 10000 is 1.0000"

5014 is the maximum amount you can add to the wear offset using INPUT+
    So 1000 is 0.1000"

There's probably no need to change any parameters.

Assuming I'm reading 10000 correctly as 1 inch, you can put 0.375" into the offset by typing the
number then press INPUT (0.375 INPUT)

If 10000 is 0.10000 then change parameter 5013 to 100000

If your machine is set to Increment System A then the number can have maximum 5 digits so in
that case make the number 99999

As an example my (metric) machine is set to.....
    5013 10000
    5014 1000

I've encountered the maximum many times and I know this allows an INPUT of 10.000mm and INPUT+ of 1.000mm
