Fanuc 6T-B Servo Alarm 400 Help!

    Hello,
I have an old Ikegai lathe with a Fanuc 6T-B control. I was doing a parting operation when the tool grenaded and proceeded to mash the remainder of the parting tool into the material. It errored out with a servo 400 alarm. It looks like the alarm is a motor or drive overheat? The machine will now not power back up, it immediately errors out with the servo 400 alarm. Any help would be great, thanks!!

if the x motor overheated, the 30 year old thermostat might not reset...check for continuity on pins R and S of the pulsecoder plug on the motor...if motor is cool and those pins are open, bad thermostat.

the 6047 dc servo amps also have circuit breakers under the board, gotta look up from the bottom, just above the terminal strip to see them- make sure those arent tripped. if its got the really old 6045 drives (shouldnt on a 6T-B) they have fuses on the backside too...

Thank you so much for the help. Thermostat was good. Circuit breakers were not tripped. There is a contactor to the right of the breakers however that the overload had tripped. Fixed it.
Some new parting tooling and I'm good to go. Thanks again
