Posting only a few lines long!

    Hi,
first of all, sry If its an absolute obvious question (and I hope so)
But im fairly new to this.

Today I calculated my first paths in bobcad/cam on an external stl model
I used advanced roughing and the paths are just fine.
I downloaded the metric mach3 postprocessor and also set the NC-path correctly
The problem is that it only outputs this:

    Code:
    (BEGIN PREDATOR NC HEADER)
    (MACH_FILE=3AXVMILL_MM.MCH)
    (MTOOL T1 S1 D10. H80. DIAM_OFFSET 1 = 5.)
    (SBOX X0. Y0. Z-20. L220. W60. H0.)
    (END PREDATOR NC HEADER)

    (PROGRAM NUMBER)
    (PROGRAM NAME - MSSWORDNC)
(POST - MACH 3 MILL NO ATC METRIC)

    (TIME - 01:24AM)

    N11709 M02

Can anybody give me a hint what Im doing wrong?

    Thanks and greetings from Vienna!

//Edit: And no this is not the demo! (but it behaves like it.., maybe there is something wrong with the licensing)

    Greetings Max,
The program can do that if you perform some type of edit after you have computed toolpath...

The best way to be sure is to go to the Z-level rough feature and choose "reselect geometry" by right clciking the geometry option in the tree.. Your part should pre highlight and all you have to do is choose OK, If it doesnt pre-highlight, you will need to reselect it.. Then compute toolpath and post right after.

    Posting only a few lines

I am having the same problem, using a demo of BobCam V2 for Solidworks. After creating the tool paths the The Mill Simulation feature has a few thousand moves in the "Move List" and the simulation looks correct. However the output NC code is always just a few lines long. I have tried selecting a few different Post processors and re-selecting the geometry as suggested. Any other thoughts?

    Thanks

The demo doesnt output code (Well, after some time period anyway), otherwise it's the paid program..

I am on the first day of the demo, and i think it said it was fully functional for five days. It is outputting code, just not correctly.

Does the solidworks version have a CAM part-Milling tools in the cam tree? If it does, then right clcik it and choose current settings and look at the nc file path on the machine tab. Be sure to navigate to a legit folder for this... If that doesnt help, I would contact them first thing to get it sorted out so you can demo it properly.

I found the following in the documentation:

NOTE: BobCAM will run in a full functional mode for a period of 5 days after it is first launched (opened). After the 5 day period has lapsed, the system will revert to demo mode until registered.
Demo mode has the following restrictions:
 Machine communication (DNC< etc.) will not run.
 Only the first 20 lines of any program will be posted.

What is strange is I just installed it today and I am getting 21 lines of code not 20. I've contacted [email protected] to see whats up.
