Can someone draw me a picture?

I just picked up three minertia servos with mounts, lovejoy connectors, ballscrews and nuts for a nice price.I'm thinking of building either a small gantry mill or possibly a two axis setup for a woodlathe.I can handle just about anything mechanically, and have no issues with code, but have no experience with electronics at all.If I buy a mach 3 set up, what will I need to make it all come together?Do I need some sort of interface with a servo drive?I looked for some sort of tutorial, but could not find what I was looking for.Any help is appreciated.

Have you made a firm decision to go servo ?
Steppers are much easier to setup and may be available in the frame size to suit the existing mounts.
As far as I know (and I don't know much) Mach3 itself is step and direction for servos. Gecko drives reportedly work well. There are other options.
Have you given any thought to using EMC2 (Linux) ?
Anyone who says "It only goes together one way" has no imagination.

I'm just trying to get an idea of what I'm going to need regardless of what cam software I choose. So, power supplies, drives, encoders, sort of a connect the dots.

Look through the support docs at GeckoDrive.com
Even if you don't go with Gecko products there's a lot of information that is pertinent to setting up the electronic/electrical side of a cnc machine.

Edit: Also look at the G320x manual to get an idea of what's involved in setting up a specific drive/motor combination.

Do you have any specs on the servos, or at least model numbers?

Thanks for the replies. The servos I have are Minertia UGREM-02SA207 and the P/n is tg-7svc.They have brushes and a tachometer on them.I thought that there would be an encoder on them but from the pdf from Yaskawa it looks like just the tach.

Yes, I looked at a .pdf and it says tach. If you could remove the tach and fit encoders on them, you could run them with Gecko G320 drives.
