Hi every one i have been looking at my nm-200 v2 for 3 hrs now
it will power up the geckos and fans but the cd 500 computer won't do a thing now signal to display.

in the past i have had to push the reset button once or twice

he only other time i have had this problem was if i left the memory stick in the usb port when trying to boot .

there is power at the computer ( the fan is running and led lights up )

i have changed moniter and cable and all the fuses are good 1 even tried f4 f12 what ever key there is

any thoughts would be a great help thanks

I assume you don't even get to the BIOS screen?

First thing is to get it to post.

Pull the battery on the CMOS wait 20 seconds, put it back in.
Try replacing the RAM chips, if there is more than one pull each one out independently.
reseat any PCI cards.

After that if it still won't boot I'd disconnect everything except the CPU and 1 RAM chip.

If it's still not starting, I'd try a different PSU, it's possible to have a PSU provide borderline voltage which makes it appear you have power, but prevents the system starting up or makes it unstable if it does boot.

If it still doesn't post it's probably a bad motherboard.

Basically what your trying to do is start with a minimum baseline and establish what works, then add the stuff back until it doesn't.

Hi every one

i took the cd 500 back to john at novakon they worked on it for about 3 hours then they found that it was the mother board .

they could every time get it to boot up but they could not get it to run the spindel to run. they changed out the mother board.

i just have to pick it up now and i want to thank them for fast service and looking out for there customers.
