    help identifying turning insert

    any one know what type of inserts these are? i got the tool holders from a friend but he cant remember what kind of inserts they are.. any help is appreciated!

    the shank is .364 square

    I believe we have some of those at the shop. I will check tomorrow if you still need the info.

    thanks for the post but i ended up getting another turning kit for fairly cheap.. never found out if seco still makes the carboloy line either and ended up scrapping them once i got the new kit in..

    id insert

    go to Carbide Depot Carbide Inserts and Cutting Tools
    rummage around until you get to the insert id page - probably under technical info. You probably have something like tnmp 321 or tpgt 321...it will be clear when you see chart there...
    one source of the inserts is ebay....buy us brands, not "generic"
