    Bridgeport VMC600/22

    Help,
I have a bridgeport with a Heidenhain TNC 370 controller will
The SIMODRIVE 611 (6sn1145-1BA01-0BA0) was replaced after a failure.
Everything seems to work except the toolexchanger, it occurs in the exchange position, only the turret will not turn and gives an error "tool changer not counting".
    Manually the exchanger turn clockwise.
Manually it will not turn counterclockwise and it gives an error "tool changer not counting".
Is there anyone who can help me to resolve this error?
    gr Kees

    sounds unrelated

toolchanger is a geneva gear so IIRC there is a sensor that sees every time the mechanism turns[one tool pocket]
    perhaps this sensor is NFG

    hello Gus,
all 4 initiators works. The initiators of the toolchanger, 1x and 1x neutral position change, detecting the position of the arm. the initiator of the toolchanger detects every pocket and the other detects the the 1st position of the turret.

If you can turn it manually clockwise, check whether the counter sensor is going ON/OFF when the magazine turns, by examining the top indicator light. When the magazine stops rotating, sensor should be at the ON state.

I encountered situation where the gear is somehow going off the correct position when it stops rotating (OFF state). If this is the case, magazine won't turn when you give it a command.

    solution

    hello
The solution of this failure is simple .
on the distribution board are a number of plug or print relays placed.
print relays 12 and 13 are for running the tool changer. One of the relays was faulty. the 4 toolchanger relays have been replaced and the fault is corrected.

Gentlemen, thanks for sharing the knowledge.
