am sure this will have been asked before, but cant find an answer anywhere. Am setting up a 3 axis router using mach 3, all a doddle so far, but when I home in on my limit switch, the machine moves in the correct direction, the switch toggles, then it moves back to un toggle the switch. Worked fine on the z axis which has magnetic proximity switches (how accurate are these?), but on x and y which have lever arm switches with rollers on the end, the switch travel between toggling of and on, is more than the amount it moves back, so the switch never clears. Without getting some more switches, can I alter the amount it travels back to untoggle the switch?

What Mach3 actually does is move back until the switch opens, not a predefined amount. So if Mach3 is not opening the switch, then Mach3 is seeing noise, or you're getting switch bounce, which causes Mach3 to think the switch is open. Increasing the debounce (in gneral config) to 2000-3000 will sometimes help.
