1997 Bridgeport CNC Explorer 1 Mold Makers Mill
DX32-is what all the literature I have says.

Basically everything we do is one offs, alot of running and changing a program from the computer to the mill using the floppy drive. Once in a while It (The Mill) wont read the floppy drive. Over time it has gotton worse and worse, now it wont at all.

How do I fix this?
New floppy drive? (Could I steal one from a junk computer?) or even a CD?
or I also read about "remote load" but what and how?!? the book doesent say to much at all.

Also, I doubt I'm in the right section of the fourm here, best guess; hope you guys can help and if not direct me to someone! Thanks! and Happy New Year!

We can swap out the old floppy disk drive on the CNC and add USB option for it. Check out our site and look for Floppy Connect
