I'm looking for some quotes on parts...
1) Take a 6' bar of 1" leg x 1" leg x 1/8" wall angle - 304 stainless - and cut it up into as many 1.5" length pieces as you can get (40+). Coldsaw would be best, but bandsaw is fine too, as long as you can deburr it in the next step.
2) Throw them all in a tumbler or vibratory finisher and make them burr free.
(Please quote this last part seperately, as I may decide to do this part myself)
3) Drill a hole centered in the part diagonally through the corner of the angle. See here for a picture of what I mean. It needs to be drilled with a #31 bit. I will ream it out to .124" or .125" later to fit the rod on hand.
Accuracy on length is +/- .062", accuracy on centering hole in length is +/-.031", Accuracy on centering the hole on the edge is +/-.015".
I will pay shipping.
Thanks!
