Hey everyone. I'm looking to buy a few bits for cutting wood, mostly figured maple. I need them to be bullnose bits, 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" diameter.
Can you guys suggest some good ones that will give a nice finished surface, without too much tearout?
I also would like to know the optimum feed rate and rpm for these bits.. I'm new to this stuff and don't know what the various bits require for feedrate/rpm, if anything.. Is it just a matter of adjusting based on the cut? I thought I read somewhere that certain bits are rated for feedrate and rpm for optimum tool life etc.
