My company recently bought 3 Doosan machines. The one I want to start with is the Mill. Its a Doosan DNM 500. Brand new out of the crate. Anyway I am having some problems with the gibbscam. I am new to the software. I don't believe we purchased the solidworks. Which I think we need. Is there anyone with knowledge of the software? I have been drawing up parts but only able to draw thin circles that look like they are in outer space because there are no solids. Now when I saved the files from our seminar it looks same way until I switch to cut file render. Then I can watch the part being machined in the software to eliminate any clashes.

I will assume you want to do 2.5D milling, in which case you would need the solids import option and 2.5D solids. You may also wish to consider advanced CS, depending on what you need to do. Pricing would be 4K + maintenance.

And, yes the rendering will appear as a solid if you do not have these options.
