I'm new to using Vectric Cut 2D and CNC in general.

I am wanting to cut multiple parts out of full sheets of plywood. I am using a toolpath with an 'outside' cut profile to cut the pieces out and within each part I am cutting I need to cut pieces out using and 'inside' cut profile.

The problem I am having is that the only way I can seem to assign one Toolpath profile to multiple vectors is by clicking and dragging to select all vectors, but this also selects vectors that need to be cut inside and I cannot seem to figure out how to subtract these selections so they are not included. A lot of programs I use you can simply hold control to add to selections and shift to subtract from selections but it doesn't seem to work with cut 2D.

I hope this makes sense and someone can give me a hand with this it would speed things up for me hugely instead of assigning toolpaths to vectors one by one!

Hold down "Shift" to add and subtract.

Hi Gerry,

Thanks for your help. I've tried that without any success. Maybe it's because I am on a mac using a mac keyboard. I have had some issues with mac hardware not working too well with windows before so I'll plug in a normal keyboard and see how I go.

I've never used Cut2D, but I do use V Carve Pro and Aspire, and that's how they work.

Yeah you're right. Got it sorted now, it was just my keyboard!
