I don't use that machine, but I suspect it is a RAM PARITY error not ram party !

There is a problem with the memory in your controller, it is unlikely to be simply a loose terminal, it is more likely that the controller has been affected by static electricity.

The RAM chips need to be replaced, if you are lucky the rest of the controller will be OK.

edit: it could be just one RAM chip.. but rarely worth only replacing one.

PARITY errors are normally a hardware issue, also it is a RAM issue.

Sorry can't help you with getting parameters list.

Hold On! first which control ?
Then , are you sure you can access the parameter screen?
Next is the ram parity alarm constant?

Please post the Fanuc control model and serial number of the machine.

Unless you work for Fanuc and have access to technical info and original factory parameter backups the serial number is not required to fix it.

The solution is of course to power on while holding certain keys so the SRAM memory is cleared then re-load the parameter backup. Although this task is usually not easily achieved by a novice.

The OP first needs to ascertain if he can still punch out the parameters while the alarm is there. that includes the PMC parameters too!

I am merely asking for machine serial number to see if I have data backup for a machine close to that. Oh, and if i am a Fanuc employee or a "Fanuc police", screen name "fanuservicetech" is an obvious choice...

On NO Fanuc control that I know of can you do anything other than clearing the memory when you have a system alarm, especially a RAM PARITY one.
There is no access to any other screen.
