    training

I am needing training software or student software. Where is the least expensive place to buy (or freeware) training? I am needing to get up on the software. I have used AutoCad for 28-30 years, MaterCam 15-20 years, ProE, and Pro manufacture, and a ton of others. I can pick it up if I just have time or a little help.
    Thank you,

    solidworks training and software

look for night school classes at a college. you might have to ask about just taking the cad courses of an engineering degree course. cost of course can easily be $1000. college is not cheap. but you get access to CAD software for 1/2 a year for $1000 maybe 2 nights a week and if you get stuck the instructor in a few minutes can teach you what might take weeks to learn on your own
    .
solidworks is not usually available on a book cd or dvd like AutoCad is for 30 days trial version. check solidworks website. student versions are cheaper but have a watermark on everything saying "student version" and have limited saving ability.
    .
most people have a hard time believing software is so expensive. it is not unusual for a company to pay $10,000 to $100,000 each year for software in the USA.
    .
PS.... Solidworks usually comes with free training tutorials at the top menu look in help
