    New Build videos

    Hi All,
I first built a wood framed (MDO) router with parts from BuildYourCNC and was very pleased but like any kid wanted more. I am now building Phase II. this machine uses about 80% aluminum 6061, linear rails and acme screws. I am posting videos of the build on YouTube and welcome any comments or questions.

or just Google "idtat cnc Phase II"

from when my wife asked "What does it do?"

Looks like a big step forward between machines.

I can tell the z axis is supported rail but not the y. Are you using harden steel rails?

Great stuff though and thanks for sharing.

    Phase II

The Z and the X are supported round linear ball bearing slides while the Y is 20mm end supported rails. I just posted Phase II 7 video where I show the Y axis and Acme screw operating it. I am very pleased.
