I'm trying to get Sheetcam to give me pierces at hole centre locations. Some people seem to have success and from what I've read some are having the same problem I'm getting.

I have tried using circles AND using points only, in my drawings. I import this drawing as a DXF into Sheetcam (use points for drilling is checked). I put the holes (or the points when I tried it that way) on a separate layer. I use the drilling operation for this layer but select a plasma tool. A cut path is produced on screen and in simulation the tool runs to each point in turn.

The gcode produced however is completely different to what is seen in simulation. There's the header and a tiny bit of other stuff, nothing making any sense. Others seem to have had this problem.

Another user did his layers in the cad program instead of in Sheetcam. Does anyone know if this makes a difference to this function working.

Got it sorted.

Les gave me a modification to the post processor and now I'm getting gcode.
